Aisling Bea
Aisling Bea is one of the richest and most well-known Comedian that was born 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born 16 March 1984), also known as Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Bea began her stand-up show in the year 2011, following appearances in small parts on several Irish TV shows as well as British series from 2009. Bea began performing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms from 2012. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for different panel shows, where she is now a regular. In 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, and also a part-time participant in the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is the younger of her siblings. In 2012, she was the second female to be awarded the So You Believe You're Funny award. Bea was awarded the award in memory of her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet, who was killed when Bea turned three was the sufferer of self-harm. The news of his suicide only after 13 years old. In 2017, Bea published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and took on the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher, jockey trainer, and professional jockey for a time. Their family was passionate about horses and races. As a young girl, Bea employed as a tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early stage that she was not interested in the racing industry as a career and instead enjoyed performing.
