Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress famous for her performance in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The only child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her career in show business at an early age. By the time she turned 16, Alexandra had landed the leading roles in numerous television dramas. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was critically as well as commercially acclaimed. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra's professional career has included work on a number of notable international and national projects. These comprise British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as along with the French historical miniseries Napoleon. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
